Hello, my name is Jamie L. Miles. I am a licensed clinical mental health counselor. LCMHCs work with clients in clinical settings to provide care and therapy. They help clients develop strategies and coping skills to overcome their issues. I am also a licensed clinical addiction specialist. Provides initial assessment, diagnoses, and evaluation services for adult patients. Provides treatment services for adult patients with substance use disorders. I provide consultation, screening, and referrals for adolescents and children with substance use disorders as needed. I provide case management services as needed for adults or children with substance use disorders. I assist in planning, developing and implementing health promotion and disease prevention programs and therapeutic services for individuals, groups and families with substance use disorders. I can provide you with more details of what each of those mean and allow you to Make an informed decision about continuing with me as your clinician. Over 20 years I have worked in the mental health field. I have supported and learned about different people and their experiences in life. I realize being genuine and listening will allow a relationship to go a long way. I have been a therapeutic foster parent for over 20 years. That position inspired me to take helping to a deeper level of understanding people and their trauma.
